Nestled in the foothills between Aberdare and Mount Kenya National Park, the lodges are famous for high perches and balconies, overlooking a salt lick and waterhole. Boasting a remarkable record of wildlife sightings from their floodlit waterhole’s and salt licks, here we will enjoy the finest in high-altitude game viewing.

Day 2: Aberdare – Lake Baringo and Lake Bogoria
Early morning game viewing, breakfast and depart for Lake Baringo. As a freshwater Lake it is home to hippos, crocodiles and an abundance of fish and birds. Lake Baringo is famous as an ornithologist’s paradise, with 500 bird species, many of which are extremely rare or otherwise only seen in this area. After Lunch proceed to Lake Bogoria.
This soda lake, which covers an area of 30 sq km, is shallow, with a maximum depth of 9 meters. Like other Kenyan soda lakes, it has no outlet and the intense evaporation has led to high levels of salt and minerals. Lake Bogoria has no fish but is rich in blue-green algae; as a result it attracts massive amounts of flamingos. The Loburu hot springs erupt along the lakeside and are as captivating as they are dangerous. Because of the extreme temperatures of these boiling springs you need to be careful when near them. Return to Lake Baringo for dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight at Lake Baringo Club or Lake Baringo Island Camp (B,L,D)

Day 3: Lake Baringo – Lake Nakuru National Park
Pre-breakfast game viewing, Breakfast and proceed to Lake Nakuru still exploring the dramatic Rift valley. Arrive in time for lunch and afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is one of the gem in the Rift Valley Lakes often referred as the Pink Lake for its great masses of pink flamingos. Opportunity to see millions of flamingos besides thousands of other birds. Lake Nakuru is a Rhino Sanctuary and harbors other wild-game like the Lion, Waterbucks, Buffalo, Warthog, and Hippo etc.

Full day to savor the beauty of the Park which harbors a thriving population of wild game. All the “Big Five” and lots of gazelles, Topi, warthogs, Cheetah, Hyenas and even the rare Rhino might come out of the thicket for you.
